Preparing for Your Pregnancy
The best time to prepare for your pregnancy is when you’re planning your pregnancy. A pre-pregnancy visit with your doctor helps you get ready for your pregnancy.

The following tests are currently available. Tests listed under later Pregnancy Weeks headings may be available to you at a later date. Please review these additional listings and discuss testing with your doctor.

Ashkenazi Jewish Carrier Testing
Carrier testing for specific inherited diseases, such as cystic fibrosis, Tay-Sachs disease, Canavan disease and familial dysautonomia to individuals of Ashkenazi Jewish descent.

Carrier Testing
Parental blood test that determines if a couple is at increased risk of having a baby with a specific inherited disease, such as Tay-Sachs disease or cystic fibrosis.

Cystic Fibrosis Carrier Testing
